We distributed over 400 free helium-filled balloons (with the NDCC website address); recruited volunteers; passed out voter registration forms; gave away campaign materials for democratic candidates; collected donations for the campaign; cut and gave away slices of watermelon and cantaloupe, cups of lemonade, and bottles of spring water (courtesy of Ward 3); and listened to the infectious music of the steel drum band Branches Pan Groove and the inspiring words of state party Chair John Walsh.
