Get Involved

The NDCC is organized into eight ward committees.  If you are registered to vote as a Democrat in Newton, you can become a member of the Committee one of two ways.  You can join by placing your name on the Committee's ballot during Democratic Primary elections every four years and being one of the top 35 vote getters (not too hard!).  Or, if there are still vacancies after the Democratic Primary, you can be appointed as a member by a majority vote of the Ward Committee's membership.  Finally, you can also just participate--our meetings and events are always free and open to the public.  Please contact your local ward chair for more information.
